Please read the following text before beginning you application
- The Queen's Institute Fund will offer individual grants of up to £5,000 for projects based in Northampton that are all about improving health and wellbeing, especially those with an illness or health condition
Applications are welcome for projects that achieve the following:
- Support individuals to live with or manage an illness or health condition
- Greater numbers of people will have healthy lifestyles and have improved life chances
- More people, especially those with a learning an additional learning need or mental health condition, will have the skills, training and education to enable employability
- Greater numbers of people will be involved within the community as active citizens and volunteers
Examples of the types of eligible project activities include the following:- Support and advocacy groups for people living with a health condition
- Volunteer led community projects that promote healthy lifestyles
- Activities that reduce isolation or the provide social activity for vulnerable older people to prevent loneliness
- Providing a new computer skill training programme for people with additional learning needs or mental health condition
- Activities that support homecoming from a stay in hospital
