The High Sheriff's Initiative
encourages the development of projects which work to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour and bring people closer to their communities to create a more cohesive society.
This year we will welcome and prioritise applications supporting projects across Northamptonshire working to support children and young people. This year will also have a focus on supporting grassroots organisations, with an annual income of £100,000 or less.
You must apply under one of the following themes:
Preventative: Projects working with vulnerable families and communities to reduce childhood adversity
Early intervention: Projects working with at risk or excluded children and young people
Intervention: Projects working with young people at risk of offending or re-offending
The Fund is open to new and
existing projects.
If your expression of interest
is shortlisted your organisation will be asked to be involved in a project
visit in July, date to be confirmed.
Groups can apply for a grant of up to £3,000 for
their project.
Closing date: 5pm on Monday 22nd June 2026
