Northamptonshire Federation of Disability Sport (NFDS) Fund - Registration form

The Northamptonshire Federation of Disability Sport Fund provides grants for sports clubs and organisations within Northamptonshire that offer or wish to offer regular sporting sessions aimed at disabled people, people living with long-term health conditions and mental health conditions.

The maximum amount that can be awarded is £500.

The funding can be used however you see fit, but it must include a clear plan that places disabled people at the heart of the project.

Funding is limited, and not all who apply will be successful; therefore, please provide as much detail as possible in your application. Note also that grants over £500 will not be awarded, and you must provide an accurate breakdown of costs if your application is accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: Applications requesting funding for new equipment or facility development may be unsuccessful if there is no clear evidence of how it will attract new players/volunteers and provide a legacy for your club/organisation.

You must have people volunteering to help with your activity who are not on your management committee. Priority will go to applicants who can show that disabled people, those with long-term health conditions and/or mental health conditions make up their workforce.

NFDS recommend you complete the Buddle Disability Inclusion Hub tool before applying. This will help you explore how accessible your organisation is for disabled people, people with long-term health conditions and mental health conditions.

The fund is seeking to help organisations provide a legacy for new members or volunteers. Your application will be unsuccessful if it does not provide evidence or intent to achieve this.

Please ensure you have read the guidance thoroughly before applying.

Projects must start by the end of June 2025 and the funding be fully spent by the end of October 2025.
